Mary A. Bond dies in Canso at 100

BOND, Mary Agnes - 100, Seaside Manor, Canso, died Wednesday in Eastern Memorial Hospital. Born in Port Felix, she was a daughter of the late John and Minnie (Richards) O'Haley. She was a member of Star of the Sea Parish. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Glennie Keddy, Fort MacMurray, Alta.; three sons, Andrew, Niagara Falls, Ont.; Ernest, Truro; Armand, Petit de Grat; 22 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Alonzo; three sons, Allan, Wallace, William. The body is in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Star of the Sea Church, Rev. James W. Oliver officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
