RHYNOLD
Hilda lrene 64, widow of David James Rhynold,
Lower Whitehead, Guysborough Co., died Monday, June 21, 1999, in
Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Half Island Cove, she
was a daughter of the late Daniel and Emily (Hendsbee) Hendsbee.
She worked at Canso Seafoods Limited for a number of years. She
loved card playing and bingo, but loved her family most. Surviving
are sons, Norman (Marg), Horace (Valerie), Wilfred (Jane), all of
Whitehead; Lloyd (Lola), Acton, Ont.; Wade (Doris), Perth Andover,
N.B.; sisters, Rettie Newman, Halifax; Hattie (John) MacDonald,
Sydney; Mary Greencorn, Halfway Cove; Helen (Hector) Cameron, Sunny
Brae; Flossie (Pat) Rhynold, Whitehead; brothers, Horace (Anna)
Anderson, Acton, Ont.; Silas (Jeanette) Carisle, Ont.; 15 grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Dave;
sisters, Effie, Mildred, Shirley, Muriel, and brother, Winston.
Visitation after 3 p.m. today at the family residence, Lower Whitehead.
Funeral service Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Whitehead,
Rev. Peter MacRae officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
