GENESTA MAE LeBLANC

 

LeBLANC, Genesta Mae -- 90, St. Vincent's Guest Home, Halifax, formerly of Port Felix, Guysborough County, died April 20, 1994, in Victoria General Hospital. Born at Charlos Cove, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Timothy and Vennie (Pettipas) Richard She was a retired school teacher and member of St. Joseph's Parish, Port Felix and St Michael's Parish, Spryfield. She is survived by two daughters Marie Perigord, Myrna Kane both of Halifax; four sons, Gerald T., Dartmouth Charles Gordon, Halifax; Maurice Joseph, Chester; Richard William, Halifax; sister, Charlotte, Dartmouth; three brothers, Ralph, Halifax; James, Dartmouth; Archie, Guysborough; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Gabriel; two sisters, Kate Boudreau, Mary Irene Pellerine; brother, Joseph Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Joseph's Church, Port Felix, where funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery. A memorial service will be at a later date in St. Michael's Church. Donations may be made to Milford Haven Home, Guysborough. Arrangements are under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
