Dies At Age 102 Years
LARRY'S RIVER, June 22 - There passed away at her home in Lundy, Guysboro County, on Saturday, June 17, Mrs. Charlotte Pettipas, at the age of 102. There survives two daughters and one son, Mrs. Annie Marn [sic], of Lundy, who cared for her mother, Mrs. Mike Hushard, of New Glasgow, and Louis Pettipas of Lundy. Several children predeceased her by a number of years.
The largely attended funeral was held at Larry's River on Tuesday morning, June 21st., with Mass of Requiem celebrated by Father Forest P.P., with Father LeBlanc, P.P. of Port Felix, assisting at the grave. The remains were laid to rest at the parish cemetery there.
