BRUCE ALAN GEORGE

GEORGE, Bruce Alan - 42, Lower Truro, formerly of Upper Whitehead, died Monday, February 28, 2000, in Lower Truro. Born in Truro, he was a son of Charles and the late Eleanor (Shannahan) George (Upper Whitehead). He was a maintenance engineer presently employed by Farmers Dairy, Truro. He was formerly a baader mechanic at Seafreez, Canso. He had a millwright ticket from UCCB and was a former member of the CAW Local 1972. He also had served as president, unit chairperson, and shop steward for the maintenance department at Seafreez. He is survived by daughters, Nicole, Ontario; Amanda, Truro; son, Daniel, Ontario; sister, Fern (Dennis) Parker, Upper Whitehead; nieces, Melanie andRosetta, both of Upper Whitehead. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Christ Anglican Church, Queensport, Rev. Ian Wissler officiating. Burial will be in Christ Church Cemetery. Memorial donations maybe made to Christ Church, Queensport.
