GROVER, Seward A. - 81, Goshen, Guysborough Co., died April 26, 1999, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Whitehead, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late William and Cordelia (Feltmate) Grover. He was a pulp contractor for Stora Enso for 34 years until his retirement in 1995. He took great interest and enjoyment in raising beef cattle. He served in the armed forces in Halifax during the Second World War. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Mary MacGregor; sons, William (Rickey), Goshen; Merritt, at home; John (Carol), North Grant; sister, Tena DeYoung, Goshen; brother, Douglas, Country Harbour; grandchildren, Anne Marie (Steven); Donna Rose (Rollie); Robert and Anthony. He was predeceased be sisters, Elsie, Wilma; brothers, Albert, Robert, Winslow, and William Arthur and Wentzell Turner in infancy. Visitation will be from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Funeral will be conducted on Thursday at 2 p.m. in Goshen Gospel Church, Pastor Jim Fletcher officiating assisted by Rev. Ches MacKenzie. Burial in Sunset Cemetery, Argyle. Family flowers only, please. Donations may be made to St. Martha's Hospital Foundation or to Goshen Gospel Church.
