CAPT. HENRY RICHARD
CHARLOS COVE, April 7 - On March 25th there passed away at his home in Charlos Cove, Capt. Henry Richard, at the age of 91. He was a respected citizen and had followed the sea all his life. He was remarkably active at his age and having been ill for a very short time, his death came as a shock to the community. Throughout his life he lived with his son, Andrew. He was a Liberal in politics and a devoted Catholic. Requeim Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph's Church by Rev. C.J. Forest P.P. He is survived by his wife, three sons, John, Andrew, and Clarence, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Anthony Avery, Lundy (Amelia); Mrs. Wilson Pettipas, Charlos Cove (Mildred); Mrs. I.W. Herb (Beatrice); Mrs. Albert Serlis (Jennie) and Mrs. Dan Jones (Elizabeth), all of Cambridge, Mass. He also leaves 57 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Two daughters predeceased him.
