MacISAAC, Leah C. - 59, Afton, Antigonish Co., died July 30, 1998, at home. Born in Lower White Head, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Margaret (Grover) Feltmate. She was a former employee of St. Martha's Regional Hospital and a willing helper at community activities. Surviving are daughters, Brenda, at home; Kay Court, Sheila Matheson, Margaret Shanahan, Bernadette Matheson, Prince Edward Island; adopted daughter, Kim Mills, Parrsboro; son, James, at home; brothers, Ross, Brad, Afton; sisters, Marion Smith, Anita Clyburn, Trenton; Lois Connors, Stellarton; Leata Pellerin, Isaacs Harbour; Gladys Fanning, Goldboro; four grandchildren. She was predeceased by husbands, Bobby Matheson, Herbie MacIsaac; children in infancy. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday in Immaculate Conception Church, Heatherton, Rev. Raymond MacDonald officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
