PETTIPAS, Clifford Abraham (Pitts) - 92, 161 Stellarton Rd., New Glasgow, died July 20, 1993, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Larry's River, Guysborough County, he was a son of the late Abraham and Josephine (Fougere) Pettipas. He was a retired employee of the Connolly Ice Company and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Georgina Delorey; seven daughters, Rita (Mrs. Joseph Richards), Margaret (Mrs. Joseph Pettipas), Elizabeth, all of New Glasgow; Theresa (Mrs. Charles Myette), Tracadie; Mary (Mrs. Gilbert Conrod), Lunenburg; Katherine, Port Hawkesbury; Veronica (Mrs. David Winter), Lower Sackville; six sons, Francis Pitts, Thorburn; Bernard Pitts, Walter Pitts, both of Westville; Raymond, Pictou; Donnie, Tracadie; Robert, New Glasgow; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Leonard; brother, Walter; three sisters, Charlotte, Josephine, Marjorie. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Charles Cameron officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or Nova Scotia Lung Association.
