LARRY'S RIVER, Guysborough County - Funeral was held Monday in St. Peter's Parish, Larry's River, for Mary Elizabeth Delorey, 70, of Larry's River. She died Saturday in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Lundy, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Marcel and Alice (Cashin) Avery. She is survived by her husband Alfred; two sons, Albert, Lower Sackville; Michael, Sambro; five daughters, Ruth (Mrs. Victor Lombard), Lower Sackville; Helen (Mrs. Joseph McGirr), Larry's River; Jean (Mrs. Thomas Pelrine), Ethel (Mrs. Gary McKeeman) and Mary Fougere, all of Hammonds Plains; three sisters, Margaret, Lundy; Annie and Irene, both of Port Felix; 12 grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant son Arthur, two brothers, Clarence and Louis. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Rev. Reginald Currie officiating.
