Edison Irving Munroe, 68, Guysborough and formerly of White Head, Guys Co, died July 14 1998 in Guysborough. Born in Whitehead he was a son of the later Berton Havelock and Lola Belle (Feltmate) Munroe. He was a retired commercial fisherman and fish plant worker. Survived by brothers Arklo and Kenneth, both of Whitehead, sisters Beryl MacMillan of Pictou. Bertha (Ross ) Farquharson of Cranbrook BC, Virginia Barrie of Dartmouth, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers Lawrence, Randolph, Eric and one in infancy and four sisters, Geraldine, Leona, Evelyn and one in infancy. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 1:00 pm Saturday until time of funeral 2:00 pm Saturday, both in Grace United Church, Whitehead, Rev Doreen Daley officiating. Burial in Grace United Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to G W Giffin Funeral Home in Country Harbour. |
