IRENE MARIE AVERY

AVERY, Irene Marie - 76, Larrys River, Guysborough Co., died July 6, 1998, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Yvonne (Picot) Collins. In her early years, she was the headwaitress for the Etna Insurance Co. in Ontario. She was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Larrys River. Surviving are her husband, Leonard; daughter, Yolanda (Mrs. Jean Begins), Levis, Que.; brother, Armand, Trois-Rivi?res, Que.; sister, Yvette (Mrs. Henry La Flame); two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, John; sister, Alice Brown. No visitation by request. Memorial service 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Parish, Larrys River, Rev. Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating. Burial at a later date. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
