BURNS, Theresa Elizabeth - 60, MacLellan Street, Antigonish, died February 1, 1995, at home. Born at Larry's River, she was a daughter of the late Clement and Emily (Richard) Avery. She was a nutritionist on the dietary staff of St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish. She was an associate member of Arras Branch 59, Royal Canadian Legion, Antigonish, and member of St. Ninian's Parish CWL. Surviving are her husband, James; daughters, Katheryn Mayea, Antigonish; son, Blaine, London, Ont.; sister, Eileen (Mrs. Robert Briand), Windsor, Ont.; brothers, Howard, Waltham, Mass.; Wilfred, Earl, Larry's River, Guysborough Co.; a grandson; a granddaughter. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul; sister, Christine. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Curry Bros. Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in St. Peter's Church, Larry's River, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Greg Campbell officating. Burial to follow in parish cemetery. Donations to Martha Home Health Care, Parkinsons Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Division, or Antigonish Arena Homemakers. |
