PELRINE, Joseph (Gus)- 82, 51Glencarin Ave., Westmount, died Monday at home. Born in Port Felix, he was a son of the late William and Marie (Richard) Pelrine. He was a member of Holy Rosary Parish, Westmount, and a member of Westside Legion Branch 126. He was employed as a carpenter at the Naval Base for more than 20 years, retiring in the 1960s. He was well-known in boating circles in the local area. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by a daughter, Judith (Mrs. James Aucoin), Westmount; a son, Kenneth, Lower Sackville; three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Lillian Marr; two brothers, Charles, William John, a sister. fhe body is in T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel, Sydney, after 7 p.m. today, 24, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral will be held 2. p.m. Thursday, Holy Rosary Church,Westmount, Rev. Joseph Muise officiating. Burial in parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity. |
