RITA DENISE CASHIN

CASHIN, Rita Denise - 27, 149 Albro Lake Rd., Dartmouth, formerly of Port Felix, Guysborough County, died August 28, 1994, in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born in Guysborough, she was a daughter of Walthen Anthony and Agnus Anita (Avery) Cashin. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Port Felix. She had been employed by Capital Stores Ltd., Halifax. She is survived by a son, Brandon, at home; brother, Joey, Port Felix; halfbrother, Tom Smeissner, Halifax; four sisters, Barbara, Dover; Marie, Port Felix; Sylvia, Larrys River; Donna Lee, Cole Harbour; half-sister, Marion Cashin, Halifax; maternal grandmother, Mary Avery, Port Felix; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Remi Avery; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Clara Cashin. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. today, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Church, where funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
