VIOLET MAY DORT

DORT, Violet May - 88, Canso, died February 7, 1995, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Whitehead, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Matilda (Greencorn) Snow. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church. Surviving are daughters, Viola (Mrs. Alton Greencorn), Medford, Kings Co.; Alma (Mrs. Harry Dort), Hattie (Mrs. Rodney Feltmate), Canso; sons, Edward, Clarence, Canso; John, Port Felix; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward G.; two sons and two daughters in infancy; brother, Harry. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday in St. Paul's United Church, Rev. Bill Ford officiating. Burial in Union Cemtery, Canso.
