BOWERS, Honora Elizabeth (Nora) - 76, Halifax, died July 8, 1995. Born at Charlos Cove, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Stella and David Richard. She was a member of the Halifax cursillo movement. Surviving are sons, Joseph (Joe) (Sonny), Michael, Zachary, Halifax; Reginald (Reggie), Enfield; daughters, Edwina (Mrs. Richard Edgecombe), Mrs. Carolyn Saunders, Ann, Halifax; 26 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; step-brother, Russell, Halifax; sister, Viola (Vy), Charlos Cove; half-sisters, Garnet (Mrs. Harry Cashin), Dartmouth; Irene (Mrs. Stephen Mickalaski), Boston, Mass. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; sister, Dorothy Levangie. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service 12:15 p.m. July 12 in St. Mary's Basilica, Msgr. A. O'Driscoll officiating. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any charity.
