EHLER, James Robert - 53, Guysborough, Guysborough Co., died Tuesday, August 6, 2002, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital, Guysborough. Born in Antigonish, Antigonish Co., he was a son of the late Roy and Thelma (Porter) Ehler. He was employed by the Department of Transportation and Public Works for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his leisure time. He is survived by sons, Dale (Roxanne), Enfield; Scott, Half Island Cove; daughters, Deanna, Enfield; Laura, Half Island Cove; brothers, Charles (Jean), Dartmouth; Wayne (Betty) and Elliott (Shirley), both of Whitehead; grandchildren, Jarred and Joshua; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday, both in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Whitehead. Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangement are entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home Ltd., Country Harbour.
