HAYMAN, Gladys Mary -- 74, 51 Green St., New Glasgow, died Monday in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Larry's River, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Rose (Pallerin) [sic] Fougere. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow, and a member of Catholic Women's League. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur (Web); a son, Berk, Thorburn; a sister, Sadie (Mrs. Elmer Pettipas), Tracadie, Guysborough County; a brother, Tom, Larry's River; four grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret. The body is in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, visiting after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholick Church, New Glasgow, Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial in parish cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity. | |
