PETTIPAS, Gordon Martin - 66, Charlos Cove, Guysborough Co., died March 5, 1998, in QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Charlos Cove, he was a son of the late Cathleen Richard. He was a seaman and a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Charlos Cove. Surviving are his wife, the former Beatrice Mary LeVangie; sons, Gordie, Elmsdale; Bruce, Bobbie, Keith, Halifax; Terry, Porters Lake; Michael, Lantz; daughters, Donna, Halifax; Geraldine (Mrs. Terry Pettipas), Lisa (Mrs. Hughie Richard), Lantz; sisters, Shirley (Mrs. Max Gosbee), Guysborough; Glenda (Mrs. Conwell Sangster), Porters Lake; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Kenneth; sister, Dianne Munroe. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or flowers by family request. Memorial service 2:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Church, Charlos Cove, Rev. Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph's Church Cemetery fund. Arrangements entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
