| Elsie Ann Pelrine, 80, The Birchill Senior Citizens Apartments, Stellarton, died Saturday, Jan. 17 in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Larry's River, Guysborough County, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Mary V. (Pelrine) Pelrine. She moved to the United States in 1926 and to Stellarton in 1978. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. She worked as a housekeeper for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish in Chicago. She is survived by three sisters, Catherine (Mrs Sylvester Fitt), Lourdes; Beatrice (Mrs Placid Crispo), Monastery, Antigonish County; Edna, Stellarton. She was predeceased by three brothers, Clarence, Elden and Nick; a sister, Margaret (Mrs Pat Munroe). Funeral service will be held Wednesday (today) at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton, Rev. Joe Gillis officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. | |
