Catherine Jane Morrison, 84, of Pictou, died Sunday, June 12, in Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital, Pictou. Born in Larry's River, Guysborough County, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Catherine (Pelerine) Bonvie. She was a member of Stella Maris Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Landry, Ont.; Eva (Mrs Lawrence MacKaracher), Bay View, Pictou County; two sons, David, Peter, both of Pictou; four sisters, Mrs Phyllis Cyr, Mrs Geneva Pattison, both of Pictou; Mrs Mary Munroe, Lyons Brook, Pictou County; Mrs Doris Dromer, Houston, Tex.; a brother, Leo, Pictou, 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander; a son, George; six children in infancy; a brother, John; a sister, Mamie. Funeral was Tuesday, June 14, in Stella Maris Church, Pictou, Rev. Kyte Gillis officiating. Burial was in Sea View Cemetery, Pictou.
