RHYNOLD, Arnold Leroy - 57, Whitehead, Guysborough Co., died Saturday, December 21, 2002, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Whitehead, he was a son of Clara (Jones) Rhynold and the late Fred Rhynold. Arnie will always be lovingly remembered and missed dearly by his mother, wife and family. In earlier years, he resided in Ontario and learned his mechanic, chef and carpenter trades. In 1977, Arnie came home to Whitehead where he worked as a fisherman and also was employed at Canso Sea Freeze as a carpenter for over 10 years. Arnie loved fishing, playing darts and karaoke singing. He enjoyed the last two years in Dartmouth with his two daughters and grandson Dennis, where he worked as a carpenter at Acadia University and Dalhousie University. Surviving besides his mother, are wife, Terry; sons, Michael (Marsha), Halifax; Jamie (Crystal), Sydney; Arnold (May), Tommy and Donald (Desarea), all of Ontario; daughters, Melissa (Steve), Canso; Robyn (Joey), Dartmouth; Heather (Aaron), Ontario; brothers, Gerald (Connie), Whitehead; Havelock (Jean), Douglas (Doreen), both of Barrie, Ont.; Lindsay (Sandra), Whitehead; Donald (Barbara), Enfield, Halifax Co.; Philip (Vera), Canso; sisters, Beryl (Bob Flemming), Barrie, Ont.; Glenda (Reg Baker), Bridgewater; Janice (Seward Hendsbee), Barrie, Ont.; Donna (Val Cashin), Whitehead; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Morris, Claire and John. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Grace United Church, Whitehead, Rev. Leonard Oracheski officiating. A private family burial will take place in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to the Rhynold family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to G.W.
