STEPHEN DONALD CASEY

CANSO - Stephen Donald Casey, 59, of Canso, died Tuesday in Eastern Memorial Hospital here. Born in Whitehead he was a son of the late Howard and Gertrude (Bond) Casey. He was a retired fisherman and a member of Star of the Sea Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Eileen Dort; five daughters, Anne Marie (Mrs. Bob Rhynold) and Theresa, both of Canso; Shirley, Dartmouth; Sheila, Sydney; Joan, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Priscella Marr, Dartmouth; Betty (Mrs. Gerald Munroe), Whites Lake, Geraldine (Mrs. Stanley Cashin), Port Felix; two grandsons. He was predeceased by an infant brother, Stanley. The body is in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Star of the Sea Church, Canso, Rev. James Oliver officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
