Mrs. Alice Tobin
Mrs. Alice Tobin of 48 Rector Street, Halifax, died Thursday in Park Haven Estates. Born in Port Felix, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Snyder) Casey. She was a member of St. Stephen's Parish, the Legion of Mary and the Royal Canadian Legion (Scotia Branch). She is survived by two sons, Lee Peitzsche and Orrington Tobin, Halifax; two daughters Mrs. Vera Yeadon, Cape Breton; Mrs. Nora Allebone, Dartmouth; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her first husband Leander Peitzsche and her second husband Edward Robin [sic], one son, Eugene and two daughters Louella and Marie. The body is at Cruikshanks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, Normandy Drive. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven cemetery, Sackville.
