Mrs. Gerald King, 63, 50 Fenwood Rd., Halifax, died Saturday at home. Born in Port Felix, Guysborough County, she was the former Mary Evangeline DeLorey, a daughter of the late Hector and Alice (Levangie) Delorey. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion, Scotia branch. She is survived by her husband, Gerald; four sons, Wayne, Birchey Head, Luneneburg County; Victor, Terry and Michael all of Halifax; four daughters, Shirely (Mrs. Raymond Burke), Sackville; Merle (Mrs. Donald Pettipas), Canso; Beverly and Mary, both of Halifax; three brothers, Alfred, Larry's River; Albert, Lakside; Frank, Saint John; a sister, Kay (Mrs. Bert Outerbridge), Ketch Harbour; 11 grandchildren; a great granddaughter. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie. The body is in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Father Eric Theriault and Father Gerald David officiating. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. |

PORT FELIX - Mrs. Gerald King, 63, 50 Fenwood Rd., Halifax, died
Saturday at home. Born in Port Felix, Guysborough County, she was the
former Mary Evangeline DeLorey, a daughter of the late Hector and Alice
(Levangie) DeLorey. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary, Royal
Canadian Legion, Scotia branch. She is survived by her husband, Gerald;

Catholic Church. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven cemetery.
