GENEVA NARDOCCHIO

NARDOCCHIO, Geneva - 85, 254 Newlands Ave., Sydney, formerly of Mechanic Street, died May 22, 1996, in Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born at Larrys River, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Allan and Elizabeth (Pellerine) Gerrior. She was a member of St. Theresa's Parish, Sydney. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her husband, John; daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Pat Maglario), Florence (Mrs. Kenneth Beaton), Sydney; Ruth (Mrs. Malcolm MacNeil), Sydney River; Mary, at home; sons, John, Blacketts Lake; Howard, Sydney River; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Babin, Agnes Martin; brothers, Leo, Francis, Jerome, Joseph; two sons in infancy. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday in St. Theresa's Church. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks. Donations to Cape Breton chapter of the Alzheimers Society or palliative care c/o Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
