CLEMENT PELRINE


Clement Pelrine
Clement Pelrine, 57, of 46 Forest Hill Drive, Halifax died Monday at Camp Hill Hospital.
Born in Larry's River, Guysborough County he was a son of the late Abraham and Mary Elaine Pelrine.
He was a chief chef with the department of fisheries on board the vessel Coynac for the past two years. He served in the Second World War and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Surviving besides his wife, the former Edith Jenton, are one son, Jerry, at home; one daughter, Ella, Richmond, B.C.; six brothers, Leonard, Joseph, Frank and Martin, all of Larry's River; Howard, Brighton, Mass.; Andrew, Delaware; two sisters, Stella (Mrs. Mitton Wright), Oregon and Mrs. Ethel Blunt, Virginia.
He was predeceased by four brothers.
The body is at R.D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Bedford. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Mass Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Rockingham. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
