ERNEST A. MARTIN

Ernest A. Martin
Sydney -- Ernest A. Martin, 94, of 125 Moxham Drive, Sydney, died Sunday in St. Rita Hospital.
Born in St. Pierre-Miquelon, he was the son of the late Pierre and
Rosalie (Millard) Julian.
He resided in Sydney for the past 70 years and retired from the Sydney
Steel plant. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Club 55 and was a member of St. Anthony Daniel Parish.
Surviving are his wife, the former Agnes Gerrior; four sons, Michael,
Kitchener, Ont.; Leo, William and Peter, all of Sydney; five daughters, Ann
(Mrs. John Hirsch), British Columbia; Mary (Mrs. Donald Cochrane), Lena (Mrs. Adam Fellener), Helen (Mrs. Merwyn Jennings), all of Kitchener; Rosalie (Mrs. John MacGuigan), Sydney; 36 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Margaret, and two infant sons.
The body is at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held
Tuesday at 2 p. m. in St. Anthony Daniel Parish, Rev. Angus MacLeod
officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery..
