MALONE, Herbert Franklyn - 76, Tor Bay, Guysborough Co., formerly of
Woods Harbour, Shelburne Co., passed away Saturday, July 12, 2003, in
Guysborough Memorial Hospital, Guysborough. Born in Woods Harbour, Shelburne
Co., he was a son of the late Crowell and Alice (Jeffery) Malone. He
is survived by stepson, Hugh (Marg) Gammon, Tor Bay; stepdaughters,
Clara (Walter) Gillie, Pine Tree; Diane (Benny) Sangster, Chezzetcook;
Lyndia Gillie, North Riverside; brother, Willis (Zella) Malone and sister,
Ruth Nickerson, all of Woods Harbour; companion, Hilda Sangster, New
Harbour; grandchildren, Kelly, Timothy, Daniel Sangster, Derek and Sharon
Gillie; many special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife,
Laura (Webber) (Gammon); brothers, Emmerson,
Lester, Loran, Burnley and Gerald; sisters, Helena, Audrey and Shirley.
Funeral 2 p.m. today in Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay, Rev. Katherine
Bourbonnier officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorial donations
may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital in Herb's name. Funeral
is under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W. Giffin Funeral
