Geneva Beatrice
GROVER, Geneva Beatrice - 88, Glenhaven Manor, New Glasgow and formerly
of Tor Bay, Guysborough Co., died Sunday, March 14, 2004, in Aberdeen
Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Tor Bay, she was a daughter of the late
William Keith and Ellen Isabelle (Jameson) Gammon. In earlier years,
she worked in a factory in Isaac's Harbour, and was also a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Aldrich Borden Grover; grandchildren,
Sheldon, Tor Bay; Anita (Baker) Dykens, Stellarton; Marie, Chance Harbour,
Pictou Co.; Harlen (Robin), Thorburn; five great-grandchildren. She
was predeceased by daughter, Phyllis Grover; son-in-law, Harold Grover.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, funeral service will be
held Thursday at 11 a.m., both in Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay,
Rev. Tori Byrne officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial
donations may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd. Funeral arrangements
are under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W. Giffin Funeral
