CHRISTENA F RYAN - Port Hawkesbury. The death of Christena Florence Ryan, 82, of Port Hawkesbury occurred Wednesday November 4 at the home of her daughter, Mrs Daniel R Ryan, Port Hawkesbury.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Matthew Hendsbee and by her second husband, Augustus Ryan.
She is survived by one daughter, Edna (Mrs. Dan R Ryan) and by seven step-sons, Leonard, Allan, Francis, Brenard, Gussie, Angus and Gregory Ryan, all of Port Hawkesbury. She is also survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Theresa Peeples and Mrs. John Goodwin, both of Mulgrave. One brother also survives, Percy Grover of Kentville and four sisters, Mrs. Stachia Murphy, St John, New Brunswick; Mrs. Essie Bond, Canso, Mrs Edmund Holmes, Mulgrave and Mrs. Everett Theurer, Palm Beach, Florida.
Funeral services will be held November 7 at St. Joseph's Church, Port Hawkesbury and will be under the direction of Rod MacDonald Funeral Home. Internment will be in the parish cemetery. |
