SCHRADER, Dollena Rosemond "Dolly" - 63, Tor Bay, Guysborough Co., passed
away Sunday, May 9, 2004, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born
in Tor Bay, she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Alice (Webber)
Gammon. Dearly beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, "Nanny Doll" will
be sadly missed by her loving husband of 44 years, William "Mac", and
children, Robert (Patsy), Corey (Tonya Murphy of Sydney River); Janice
Crooks (Darren), all of Tor Bay; Andrew (Wanda) Roachvale, Joyce Kettley
(Sean), Porters Lake; grandchildren, Courteny, Stephanie, Kathryn, Cody,
Kirby Rae, Kyle, Colleen, Avery and Meagan; sisters, Dora (Bernie) Day,
Halifax; Jean and Vida Sangster, both of New Harbour; many nieces and
nephews. In her early years she worked in Canso doing odd jobs. She
was an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay and
the Ladies Guild. She was secretary and partner of the W.M. Schrader
Fisheries for the past 30 years. She enjoyed many hours with her family
and friends playing cards, going to bingo, reading, skidooing, and cruising
with her husband in their boat. Dolly had a big heart and will always
be remembered for her beautiful smile. She will be missed always. Visitation
will be held today from 2-4 and 6:30-9:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 10
a.m. to 12 p.m. in Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay and from where
funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m., Rev. Tory Byrne officiating.
Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Memorial
donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity
of choice. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate
