AVERY, Geneva Margaret - 88, Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough,
formerly of Larry's River, Guysborough Co., died Monday, January 10,
2005, in the home. Born in Larry's River, she was a daughter of the
late Thomas and Vennie (Pellerin) Richard. She was a faithful member
of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Larry's River. She was a retired
waitress and housekeeper. She is survived by her son, Leo (Delores),
Larry's River; daughter, Cecelia Avery, Larry's River; brothers, Father
Leo Richard, Meteghan River; Eugene Richard (Odette), Larry's River;
sisters, Emyline DeCoste (Leonard), Frankville; Catherine Stone, Spryfield;
Margaret Alder, Whitby, Ont.; grandchildren, Craig Avery (Tara), Tanya
MacDow (Perry); great-grandson, Cody Avery. She was predeceased by her
husband, William George Avery; brothers, Eldred, Bernie; sisters, Cecile
Perkins, Annie Bunt and Marion Pettipas. Visitation will be 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. today and Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of funeral in Communities
Along the Bay Multi-use Facility Community Room. Funeral service will
be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Larry's
River, Father Will MacPherson officiating. Burial in St. Peter's Parish
Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to charity of choice. Funeral
