JOHN FRANCIS DOIRON
PORT FELIX - John Francis Doiron, 70, of Port Felix, was buried in the parish cemetery Monday, following funeral in St. Joseph's Church, Charlos Cove. He died March 18, at home.
Born in Charlos Cove, he was a son of the late Frank and Flossie (Mannette) Doiron.
He worked at the department of Oceanography and HMC Dockyard until his retirement in 1977.
He is survived by his wife the former Ina Casey; four sons, Frank, Halifax; Russell, Canso; Emmie, Torbay, and Kenneth, Charlos Cove; three daughters, Lorna (Mrs. Rod Cashin), Port Felix; Bertha (Mrs. Jim Colbin), Charlos Cove, and Shirley (Mrs. Joe Petipas), Charlos Cove; two stepdaughters, Karen, Halifax, and Carrie, Burnaby B.C., a sister Elsie (Mrs. Edmond Doiron), Charlos Cove; and three brothers, Ernie, Ottawa; Andrew, Pictou, and Raymond, Charlos Cove.
He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Lena Casey, and an infant sister Mabel.
