PELLERIN, Bertha Helen - 81, of Larry's River, Guysborough County, died Saturday in the Victoria General Hospital. Born in Larry's River, she was a daughter of the late James and Lillian (Patton) Pellerin. She was a former school teacher in several schools in the Larry's River area. She was a life-long member of St. Peter's Church, Larry's River, and was active in church and community affairs. She is survived by her husband Allan; a sister, Christine, Brighton, Mass.; five daughters, Camilla (Mrs. Reg Avery), Bernice (Mrs. John Evans), Jean (Mrs. David Joudrey) and Esther (Mrs. Cyril Pellerin), all of Halifax; Margie (Mrs. Ralph Robertson), St. Peter's; a son, Wilbert, Herring Cove; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Clara, and a brother, Howard. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2p.m. in St. Peter's Church, Rev. Doug Murphy officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital Building Fund or St. Peter's Cemetery Fund. |
