PORT FELIX - Funeral was held June 29 in St. Joseph's Church, Port Felix, for Mary Gladys Surette, 62, of Port Felix, Guysborough County, who died June 26 in the Halifax Infirmary. Burial was in the church cemetery. Born in Port Felix, she was a daughter of the late Leander and Mary (Avery) Marr. She is survived by her husband Allan; four sons, Francis, Port Felix; Leander, Charlos Cove; Richard, Port Felix; Wayne, Dartmouth; two daughters, Rose (Mrs. Harvey Richard) and Carol (Mrs. Thomas Richard), both of Charlos Cove; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Rita, Halifax; a brother, Francis, Port Felix. She was predeceased by a son Francis, and a brother Raymond.
