ELDON WILBERT JOSEPH PETTIPAS

PETTIPAS, Eldon Wilbert Joseph - 80, Charlos Cove, Guysborough Co., died February 5, 1996, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born at Charlos Cove, he was a son of the late Daniel and Mary Ellen (Bowie) Pettipas. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Charlos Cove, and a retired commercial fisherman. He was also an avid hunter. Surviving are his wife, the former Annie Richard; sons, Joseph, Charlos Cove; Lloyd, Halifax; Carroll, Lantz; daughter, Marilyn (Mrs. Frank Doiron), Charlos Cove; sister, Pearl Pellerine, Halifax; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, George, Fordie, Stanley; sisters, Lilly and Pearl in infancy, Blanche. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, both in St. Joseph's Church, Charlos Cove, Rev. Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial in parish cemetery. Donations to Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Arrangements under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
