McGIRR, Rose Angeline - 69, Larry's River, Guysborough County, died July 15, 1994, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born at Larry's River, she was a daughter of the late Augustus and Geneva (Pettipas) Pellerin. She was a founding member of the Catholic Women's League, Larry's River and a member of St. Peter's Parish, Larry's River. Having resided in Truro for 14 years, she was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church and a life member of the CWL in Truro. She is survived by three daughters, Roseanne (Mrs. Hugh MacIssac), Truro; Mary (Mrs. Brian Richard), Elaine, both of Larry's River; son, Joseph, Manchester, Guysborough County; three sisters, Louise Avery, Larry's River; Mary Cole, Tottenham, Ont.; Helen (Mrs. Joseph Delorey), Legal, Alta.; brother, Peter Dan, Larry's River; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; son, Kenneth; six brothers, William, George, John, Luke, Sylvester, one in infancy; a sister in infancy. Funeral was held July 17 in St. Peter's Church, Larry's River, Rev. Allan MacPhie officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Guysborough Memorial Hospital or St. Martha's Palliative Care, Antigonish.
