MUNROE, Muriel Josephine - 86, Valley View Villa, formerly of 410 South Frederick St., New Glasgow, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2002, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in White Head, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Norman and Maud (George) Munroe. She was a retired factory worker having worked in the United States for several years. She was an adherent of First Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow. Surviving are her brother, Harold Munroe, New Glasgow; nieces, Kathy, Janet; nephews, Billy, Weldon. She was predeceased by sisters, Gertrude Grover, Isabel Munroe; brother, Owen. Visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday in R. H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to a charity of choice. |
