EMMETT ISAAC AVERY

CANSO - EMMETT ISAAC AVERY, 46, a member of the Canso Town Council, was buried in the Star of the Sea Cemetery, following funeral service. Born in Canso, he was the son of Jeffrey and the late Mamie (Gerrior) Avery. He was a veteran of the Second World War, and a member of Chedabucto branch, Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Bond); one daughter, Juanita; three brothers, Abraham, Ottawa; Howard and Victor, both of Canso.
