| FELTMATE, Austin Garfield - 83, Whitehead, Guysborough Co., died June 1, 1995, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born at Whitehead, he was a son of the late Angus James and Bessie Leah (Munroe) Feltmate. He was a retired commercial fisherman. Surviving are his wife, the former Jean Elizabeth Murphy; son, Archie Munroe, Halifax; brothers, Everett, Port Morien; Donald, Sheet Harbour; sisters, Ada Munroe, Halifax; Dora (Mrs. Lawrence Snyder), Sheet Harbour; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Harry; a sister in infancy. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Saturday both in Grace United Church, Whitehead, Rev. Bill Ford officiating. Burial in church cemetery. Donations to Grace United Church, Whitehead Volunteer Fire Department, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements under the direction of Giffin's Funeral Home, Country Harbour. | |
