MAUDE B MUNROE

Mrs Maude B Munroe
Funeral services for Mrs Maude B Munroe, Halifax, widow of Captain Alden Munroe, were held Friday from St Mark's Anglican Church, Halifax, Rev R C Tuck assisted by Rev G S Tanton officiated. Interment was in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Born in Whitehead, Guys Co, in 1887, she was the daughter of William L and Jane Munroe. she lived in that community until 1957 when her husband died. She is survived by two daughters, Thelma (Mrs T R Walters), Armdale, and Melba (Mrs W N Farrell) Fort William , Ontario; five sons, Victor, Charlottetown; Enos, with whom she resided; Clarel, William , and Ivory, all of Halifax; two sisters, Estelle Munroe, Brookline, Mass., and Lola (Mrs J E Deal), Newton, Mass; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
