CLAREL A. MUNROE

MUNROE, Clarel A. - 89, passed away July 28, 2002, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Whitehead, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Alden and Maude Munroe. He was predeceased by his wife, Vera (Streatch) in 1997; several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his brother, William (Mona) Munroe, Canso; sister, Thelma Walters, British Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Clarel was a veteran of the Second World War, serving in the Air Force. He worked for National Sea Products in Halifax for several years and later for Foundation Maritime, also in Halifax. No visitation by request. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 1, in Fairview Lawn Cemetery. www.funeralscanada.com/homes/cruikshank
