Charlo's Cove,The death of Mrs. Mary Jane Richard
of this place occurred at her home on April 28,1935
Mrs. Richard was in her hundredth year of her age ,
and had been ill for a few months . She was the widow
of Robert Richard,who predeceased her serveral years
ago . Mrs. Richard spent her life here and was a well
known and highly respected member of the community.
She is survived by six daughters, Vernie at home,
Mrs. Alex Pettipas of Larry's River, and four in the
U.S.A. namely Mrs.William Pellerin, Mrs. Samuel Avery
Mrs.Charles White, and Mrs. J. White. Also two sisters
Mrs.Sophie Pettipas and Mrs. Charlotte Hushard
both
of Larry's River . The funeral was held Wednesday
morning at 5 o'clock at St. Joseph's, Rev. Father
Forest officiating.
