EMMONS, Beatrice
Melinda
EMMONS, Beatrice Melinda - 93, Port Felix, Guysborough Co., died Monday,
November 3, 2003, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Port
Felix, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Martha (Richard) DeCoste.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish. Beatrice enjoyed quilting,
sewing, knitting and picking berries. She is survived by daughter, Agnes
(Mrs. Placide David), Port Felix; sisters, Agnes Wamback, Elizabeth
Bond, both of Halifax; grandchildren, Howard Colp, Glenda Colp,
John David; great-grandson, Mitchell Colp. She was predeceased by her
husband, Joseph; son, Vaughan;
brothers, Joseph, Clement and Sylvester;
sisters, Mary Marr, Helen Bellefontaine. Visitation
will be 3-9 p.m. today, funeral mass 11 a.m. Wednesday, both in St.
Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Felix, Father Daniel Boudreau officiating.
Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial
donations may be made in Beatrice's name to St. Joseph's Parish Fund
or the Palliative Care Unit, Eastern Memorial Hospital. Beatrice will
be sadly missed and always remembered. Funeral arrangements are under
