| PORT FELIX,
Guysborough County - Joseph Hector DeCoste, 81, of Hazel Hill and
Port Felix, died Tuesday in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born
in Port Felix, he was a son of the late Louis and Martha (Richard)
DeCoste. Surviving are six sisters, Elizabeth
(Mrs. Alonzo Bond), Helen (Mrs. Barney Bellefontaine),
Beatrice (Mrs. Joseph
Emmons) and Mary (Mrs. Henry
Marr (all of Port Felix) ; Agnes (Mrs. Parker Wamback), Fairview,
and an adopted sister, Matilda (Mrs. Godfrey Geddet), Cape Breton;
a brother Sylvester, Port Felix. He was
predeceased by a brother, Clement. The body is in St. Joseph's Roman
Catholic Church, Port Felix, where funeral will be held 10 a.m. today,
Rev. Peter MacDonald officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. |
