RICHARD, Leonard Bernard - January 18, 1920 - March 30, 2004. Born in Charlos Cove, Guysborough Co., passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at the age of 84, peacefully and with dignity, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of 59 years to Rita (Avery); loving and devoted father of Douglas (Monica), Robert (Bonnie), Norbert, Joe, Pam, Wayne (Diane), Howard (Manuel), Sue (Cheryl), Carl (Kathy); cherished grandpa of Daxx, Robby (Barbara), Michael, Matthew, Ryan, Liam and Maxine. Surviving are his brothers, Leo and Francis; sisters, Elsie, Sister Marie-Thérèse, CSM and Sister Anita, CSM; brother-in-law of Verina, Elsie, Sadie (pre-deceased) and Theresa; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Jeffrey Richard and Suzanne Pellerin; brothers, Willie and Tommy. Donations may be made in his memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Interment will be held at a later date in Charlos Cove, Guysborough Co.
