Russell Joseph
GERRIOR, Russell Joseph - 71, Lundy, Guysborough Co., died Friday, May
16, 2003, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Havre Boucher, Antigonish
Co., he was a son of the late James and Stella
(DeCoste) Gerrior. He was employed with the Department of Natural Resources
until his retirement in 1989. Russell enjoyed playing solitaire, the
ocean, and all of his model boats. He is survived by his wife, the former
Barbara Hill; sons, Audie (Shirley), Danny (Donna), both of Lundy; Fabian
(Aldona), Guysborough; Tyson (Susan), Blue Mountain; daughters, Freda
DeLorey (Tom), Manchester; Stella Gerrior (Darryl Richard), Charlos
Cove; brothers, Ambrose, Prince Edward Island; Wilson,
Guysborough; Roy, Sackville; grandchildren, Crystal, April, Robert,
Tracey, Sheldon, Holly, Brandon and Raquel; great-grandchildren, Megan
and Nicholos. He was predeceased by brother, Irving. Visitation will
be 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday where funeral service will
be held 11 a.m. Monday, both in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church,
Charlos Cove, Father Will MacPherson officiating. Burial in the parish
cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association
or Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are entrusted
to G.W. Giffin Funeral Homes Ltd., Country Harbour. On-line condolences
