EMBRETT (Casey), Shirley Elizabeth - 63, Chappell St., Dartmouth, died, July 17, 1999, in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Port Felix, Guysborough Co., she was the daughter of Charlotte (King) Casey and the late Dennis S. Casey. She was a past employee of Simpson-Sears and currently a member of St. Paul's Church and Catholic Women's Association. She loved to travel, do crafts and was an avid seamstress. Surviving are her husband, Carl; daughter, Tara, Ottawa; brothers, Dennis, Bedford; Freeman, Antigonish; Warren, Halifax; Jerry, River Bourgeois; Patrick, Halifax; sisters, Kay, Mrs. Don Howard, Bedford; Joan, Mrs. Arnold DeBaie, DeBaie's Cove; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Earl. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Windmill Rd., Dartmouth, Rev. Albert Cosgrove officiating. Burial to follow in Dartmouth Memorial Garden Cemetery. Flowers greatly appreciated or donation to charity of choice.
